Flight to Kenya.

You will travel to the airport independently. We would also be happy to book a Rail & Fly ticket for you to travel by train. You will fly from Frankfurt to Doha with Qatar Airways. After a short layover, your journey continues towards Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. There, your two-week safari adventure through East Africa will begin the following day!

Plantation tour and flamingo lake.

Learn about tea cultivation on a guided tour of the plantation and enjoy lunch in the old farmhouse. Continue your journey down the Great Rift Valley, stopping at various viewpoints along the way, passing Mount Longonot volcano and Lake Naivasha. First animal observations.

Explore Lake Nakuru National Park on an exciting full-day game drive: There are several flamingo colonies, and in the acacia and fig groves, you have a good chance of spotting leopards. Discover buffalo, giraffes, zebras, lions, and antelopes on the open grasslands. The park is especially famous for its endangered and rarely seen white and black rhinos. Enjoy a rustic picnic lunch overlooking the waterfalls. Breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner are included.

Wildlife observation on land and water.

You'll enjoy a boat trip on Lake Naivasha, observing hippos and waterbirds. For a truly immersive nature experience, a walking safari on Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha awaits you. The island is home to zebras, giraffes, and various antelope species, which you'll encounter up close in the company of a ranger. Enjoy lunch overlooking the lake before continuing your journey to your safari camp in the Masai Mara!Breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner are included.

Large migration in summer.

A full-day game drive in the heart of the Masai Mara awaits you! The savannahs are home to cheetahs, lions, and hyenas, large herds of buffalo and elephants, giraffes, and various antelope species. Between July and October, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras roam the Masai Mara, their spectacular river crossings providing a dramatic spectacle every year. Border crossing and the sound of waves.

On your Kenya and Tanzania tour, you'll cross the border into Tanzania today and reach Lake Victoria, the sea in the heart of Africa. Your lodge is nestled in a lush garden on the shores of Speke Bay. Comfortable bungalows, roaming peacocks, and a view of one of the Nile's sources make a night here truly special. Entrance to the Serengeti.

Learn traditional fishing methods from local fishermen. They will accompany you by canoe to their work. In the afternoon, you'll reach Tanzania's most famous national park, the Serengeti! You'll safari through the western corridor along the Grumeti River, home to many Nile crocodiles. In June, you can witness large herds of wildebeest and zebra crossing the river! Your camp is strategically located for stalking lions, cheetahs, elephants, and the Great Migration. Breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner are included.

Unique animal experiences.

The Serengeti is a vast area blessed with abundant wildlife. Enjoy ample opportunities for wildlife viewing, which are excellent year-round! Always keep a watchful eye on any branches crossing your path – a leopard might be resting there. In January and February, the great herds of wildebeest and zebra roam the southern Serengeti with their newborn calves. During this time of year, you will be staying in the south. Safari in a volcanic caldera.

You leave the Serengeti with a touch of melancholy. But another Tanzanian highlight awaits: the Ngorongoro Crater. You reach the crater rim through traditional Maasai territory. Up to 25,000 animals live year-round in this 300 km² volcanic caldera, the largest in the world. It's rare to see so many animals in such a small area in their natural habitat. Antelopes of all kinds, lions, hyenas, ostriches, buffalo… With a bit of luck, you might even spot one of the rare black rhinos that inhabit the crater. Breakfast, picnic lunch & dinner included.

Stalking in the realm of elephants.

Today's full-day game drive takes you to Tarangire National Park. The giant baobab trees provide the perfect backdrop for the large elephant families that roam the park. The Tarangire River attracts giraffes, zebras, and antelopes, as well as cheetahs. Lions prefer the horizontal branches of the trees as resting spots – so keep your eyes peeled! Your accommodation is situated on a hill, allowing you to enjoy panoramic views across the savannah in the evening. Breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner are included.

A special cultural encounter.

You'll stay in an extraordinary lodge: nestled between the sacred mountains Meru and Kilimanjaro, you'll be a guest of the Maasai in a true gem of traditional style with handcrafted furniture. Stalking at the foot of Kilimanjaro.

Getting up early is worthwhile. In the early morning, you can admire the white peak on the roof of Africa. During the day, it often shrouds itself in clouds. You'll cross the border into Kenya and drive to your lodge at the entrance to Amboseli. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a safari in Amboseli National Park, a photographer's paradise. Here, you'll have the chance to photograph the silhouettes of giraffes or elephants against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro with its eternally white summit! Breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner are included.

The safari is coming to an end.

One last chance to see Kilimanjaro – then it's time to say goodbye. With a suitcase full of wonderful memories, you'll return to Nairobi and have lunch. Transfer to the airport for your flight home with Qatar Airways. Your Tanzania and Kenya trip concludes with a flight via Doha to Germany. Not ready to go home yet? Arrival back home.

You'll land at Frankfurt Airport in the morning and begin the final leg of your journey: your individual trip home.
